I recently completed my first custom water cooling setup. After a few weeks of testing, everything seemed normal until it suddenly stopped working. The power went out, and the system didn’t respond. The motherboard lights are on, and the start button on the motherboard is illuminated. However, pressing start doesn’t trigger any action. If I briefly disconnect the power and then reconnect it, a click sounds, but the fans fail to start within seconds. Any advice would be appreciated.

I attempted to test using only a Molex cable for the pump and fans. The short/bridge 24-pin connector is working fine, so it seems the Corsair HX1000 PSU might be faulty.

For testing purposes, try using a lower PSU. However, things are tough these days—failure seems inevitable. Unfortunately, much of the production comes from China. The positive side is you still have the option to return it for repair.
