Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. Please stay safe and healthy—your insights are really appreciated. I understand many of you have solid knowledge about PC stuff, so I wanted to share this issue with you. I was about to begin playing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, but then my computer shut down unexpectedly and won't turn back on. What should I do now?

Attempting to power on only a black screen with the CPU light on reveals the presence of a graphics card. If confirmed, remove it and test the stock motherboard HDMI connection. Check for any power fluctuations. Inspect the motherboard for burnt marks. Verify RAM by removing and reinserting it, using spare RAM if available.

Thanks for your help with Kamranbites. I’m glad to hear you’re seeing the RGB board and have a GPU. Regarding the steps you mentioned, would it be best to reach out to an engineer?

The instructions I shared are straightforward and require only basic knowledge. Just a quick note—are your fans running? You can test by taking off the side panel, or if it’s clear, you should see the CPU fan spinning.

However, when he said it abruptly, it stopped functioning, suggesting the power cable or outlet might be fine—it's just something you typically verify.

They never talked about checking or testing, so I don’t assume they did. Spent way too much time in tech support for that.

Nowadays, almost everyone works as an engineer and tests things extensively before proceeding.
