My computer won't power on though USB ports show power. I've tried cleaning RAM, CPU, GPU, unplugging everything step by step, changing thermal paste, but it still won't start. Sometimes leaving it plugged in lets me turn it on smoothly. Right now I can't get it going. I suspect the power supply might be the issue—it's been over two years and it seems to have been damaged. I noticed some current when touching it, and the microphone hums but the case makes a noise before. Or maybe the motherboard is faulty? Any advice would be appreciated. I experienced a comparable problem before, and the faulty component was the PSU. It would be helpful if someone could lend you a PSU to test it.

Thanks! That would be useful. I'm considering my cousin who has the same configuration but he got a brand new PSU.
