I own a build I began three years ago and made major changes up to now, except for the CPU. Now it has an odd issue: it shuts off when I hit my desk, and sometimes it won’t turn back on even after all RAM sticks are connected. Removing two RAM modules fixes it. The machine still works fine without it—my 64GB Corsair Dominator is there, mainly for playing Cities Skylines, which is very demanding. I suspect the problem might be with the CPU, similar to a past issue I had with my previous motherboard, an ASUS B550. My current setup includes an AMD 5600X, MSI 4070ti, a 750W gold PSU, four 16GB Corsair Dominator 3600 DDR4 modules, and a Noctua NH-US12. Most cables are under nine years old, but I’m worried about potential shorts. Do you think this is CPU-related? I’ve seen some discussions on Reddit about possible memory issues, but nothing concrete.

It's often not what it seems, but I've noticed this behavior with my 2L water bottle sometimes. I posed this question because leaving my PC idle for an hour and then trying to power it up requires removing two RAM sticks.
