PC specifications MOBO: Asus Prime B560M-A graphics card paired with MSI Radeon RX 6650 XT MECH 2X 8G OC processor, I5-11400F, Seasonic Focus power supply, 8GB RAM at 3200Mhz, Corsair memory. While playing Warzone 2.0 this frequently occurred (three times, each time during gameplay), the mouse and keyboard became unresponsive. Discord conversations didn’t pick up my voice. Operating system is Windows 11 64-Bit, version 22H2; BIOS version 0820. Running applications included Steam, Battle.net, Discord, Warzone 2.0, and AMD Software. After switching from GTX 1060 to RX 6650 XT, the freezes started, with no minidumps appearing. I attempted DDU three times in safe mode—first removing Nvidia drivers, then reinstalling both Nvidia and AMD drivers after noticing the issue. RAM diagnostics showed no errors. Considering an RMA for the GPU seems like a possibility, but if a fix exists I’d prefer that option.

My bios information is outdated in several places; updating it would be a good idea. I've noticed similar problems with previous versions, so keeping it current is essential for stability and AMD memory support. First, I'd update the bios and check if the issue persists. Also, monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures during crashes—gaming might indicate overheating. It could help to run it without XMP enabled to see if that affects the crashes.

I've reviewed my GPU temperatures during gameplay, they hover near 60°C overall and 70°C at the junction, indicating no overheating issues. I'll also monitor my CPU temperatures while playing.

I believe the problem could be related to a driver issue. When using a 144Hz monitor as the main and a 60Hz one as secondary during video playback and window switching, occasional driver timeouts or black screens might appear on Radeon™ RX 6000 series GPUs with certain 240Hz or high-refresh-rate setups.

You might want to disconnect the secondary monitor and check for freezing issues when the main display is connected. Were the BIOS updates applied successfully?

I need to try more to check if it helps, the freezing happens unpredictably. I’ll use two monitors connected, and if it freezes, I’ll switch one off to test it further.

There was a driver patch that resolved the problem, but it kept freezing twice within 15 minutes. The BIOS update didn’t help either, and the driver update failed as well.
