I assembled my gaming PC myself, but after eight months of use it begins shutting down completely. The power button fails to work, and nothing functions properly. After five to six minutes it restarts, only to turn back on again after four minutes. Occasionally I leave it on all night while playing games like Black Ops 6. It randomly powers off during gameplay for about four minutes before coming back. Is this a problem that needs fixing or is it just an unexpected occurrence?

Open the start menu
Enter "Event Viewer" in the search bar
Navigate to Windows logs, check application and system entries for crashes and errors
Share complete details and your operating system version (including all hardware specs like PSU, CPU cooler, etc.)

Watch the clip about checking the event viewer. Recalling the crash date and time can assist in identifying the problem.

Remove them and start the game until it fails; then check.
