Hello, today my computer restarted itself repeatedly without any blue screen or errors while I was playing BF6 for about two hours. After checking the Event Viewer, I saw a kernel power event at 41. I’m unsure what caused it, but I played normally for over two hours with no overheating on CPU or GPU (CPU at 60+, GPU at 55). My PC specs are: Intel i7-14700KF, 170GB SSD, Z790 gaming X-AX BIOS, RX 9070 XT 16GB, PCIe 2x, 8pin. I’m using Corsair RX Titan 360, two monitors, and a PSU from Antec (750W). The issue only happens occasionally, not every day. I think it might be related to the PSU being insufficient. I’m planning to update now—this is my second occurrence, and it happened again just 16 days ago during a restart. I’m unsure if this will resolve itself or if an update is needed.

Dude, the card needs at least 750W. The 14700k rating in BF6 could overload the PSU beyond its capacity. Cut the GPU’s max power to 97-95% and cap the CPU usage at 200W.

It's the lowest I've seen, but everything has been okay since mid-November. Yesterday was the first time it happened, and my CPU is at 170 or 210—can't recall needing to check anything.

Decreasing quality, a few isolated high readings at specific points in the data, that's it.

GPU performance stays within 350W even when CPU isn't at maximum. I can't see the minimum settings. The PSU is rated as an A in the list. While GPU can handle short bursts higher, the PSU also supports those spikes. I believe it should function properly. Are there any dust filters on the air intake? Did you run a RAM check with MemTest86? Edited January 11 by leclod

I will examine the PSU filter and fan settings regarding the RAM I adjusted manually in BIOS since April 15, 2025. No problems arose. I also ran a Stability Test (TestMem5 @Anta777): - Cycles Completed: 3 - Duration: 1 hour 33 minutes - Errors: 0 I believe it wasn’t an issue with the RAM.

Can you run a performance test on your GPU? Based on what you mentioned, it might indicate you're hitting the limits. Also, monitor the temperatures closely—they could trigger safety features that shut down the system before damage occurs. I've experienced this before when pushing too hard with a PSU and the system would restart itself. You're using a 650W PSU with a new GPU.

I just wanted to mention that my PSU occasionally shuts down on the Desktop, though it happens infrequently and doesn't turn off completely. The RGB lighting is still active, and I plan to reactivate it later. It might be due to worn coils or capacitors, and honestly my Corsair X750 is aging. Power supplies are generally degrading over time, even without heavy load—some phases or V-lines can lose efficiency. I'm thinking about replacing it with a new one for testing purposes. I'll try using OCCT to check its performance.
