The computer remains on despite turning off the power supply unit!
I experienced this problem last week where shutting down the PC caused the CPU fan and other fans to spin rapidly, and the CPU debug LED would turn red. To fix it, I had to unplug the power supply. I attempted to reset the motherboard, CMOS, and various components, but nothing resolved the issue. The setup is an X570 with a 3700x motherboard. The PC shuts down but the fans continue spinning until the PSU is turned off.
Do you have the most recent information about your motherboard? Probably not the main focus, but it could be a good opportunity.
I don't have a power supply, but I can help you understand what to look for in terms of power delivery and reliability.
Could it be that when you shut down your Mobo, the USB ports still receive power and it takes a while for all your RGB effects to shut down? That might be related to the ASUS B450M, though I’m not sure.
I'm tryina think I've never heared of it and theres nothing regarding this anywhere one more thing what's the exact model of your x570 board
mpg x570 gaming plus offers enhanced performance and features for gamers seeking a powerful setup.
I'm not entirely confident about this, but it might be related to your motherboard. Another possibility is the power delivery system; if the PSU is defective, it could affect performance. The MPEG X570 tends to be on the lower side in power output, so a weak PSU might cause issues. Make sure to check your power supply as well.
