I changed the memory and repositioned the CPU but the same problems persist. The MOBO handled the new memory with the correct XMP profile without issues. After a restart, it would hang before post and needed a full shutdown before restarting again. Recently, I discovered a good deal on a semi-modular PSU for 20$ after a rebate at Newegg, which was my only choice since finding a 500w or bigger one was tough. It should arrive at my place by mid-week thanks to free shipping. Having it will be useful for future troubleshooting. I’ll let you know once the new PSU arrives. Honestly, I’m hoping this is the right PSU so I can move on and focus on other adjustments. Do anyone have suggestions?

I almost forgot another point: it often hangs in the BIOS after exiting during a restart, regardless of whether I save or discard changes. That’s another reason I’m considering the MOBO.
