I've owned this PC for a few years now. In my view it works well but is having trouble. I'm not sure if upgrading is necessary or if something specific caused the issue. I've kept all drivers updated, experimented with RAM speed changes and overclocking, yet performance remains poor in most games. Running them at low settings doesn't help much. What could be the problem?

Never mention benchmark results again. Block the platform. It’s not allowed in tech discussions because it’s extremely unreliable, bad information, and controlled by flawed individuals. It doesn’t provide useful test data due to their strong dislike for AMD. They’ll make you believe your machine is worse than it actually is. Your computer is probably okay. The main factors affecting performance are likely the CPU cooler (even a 3600 needs one) and GPU. Everything else seems fine.

For improved gaming performance, try the complimentary 3D mark demo on Steam. It provides clear feedback on your score compared to other similar systems.

I checked the performance using a 3DMark demo, and it showed solid results. The scores were consistent and reflected good hardware capabilities. It’s a reliable benchmark for assessing overall speed.

All of this information. Plus, switch to HWiNFO64 instead of Speccy. For open-source options, try LibreHWMonitor.
