I built a PC for a friend using an old motherboard and CPU I found. The board lacks indicators like CPU, DRAM, or VGA lights to help identify problems. When the system starts, no image appears, making it hard to spot the issue. Any suggestions?

Replace the GPU. If nothing works, install a compatible one. If that fails, test with RAM sticks—one in each slot—and if needed, swap the other stick. Finally, verify the CPU matches the motherboard and BIOS version.

I completed both tasks. It functions now, though I believe it’s not due to your guidance... sorry bro... After trying other solutions initially, I changed from a displayport to an HDMI cable, and everything works perfectly. Thanks anyway!

Using a PCI/PCI-E slot POST code reader might also be useful. This is just an illustration, so make sure you find one matching your board's configuration before purchasing: PC Motherboard Analysis Diagnostic Card 4-Digit LED PCI/ISA POST Code Analyzer | eBay
