I’m experiencing more challenges maintaining a stable frame rate in recent games that previously ran smoothly. Everything seems noticeably slower overall. Might there be an issue with the hardware? Also, my PC is noisier than usual, but reducing graphics settings doesn’t improve performance much.
Details:
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770
System Model: Optiplex 9010
GPU: GTX 1650
Ram: 16gb
Please let me know if you’d like further information, thank you for your assistance.

Ensure the CPU's heatsink is clear of dust and lint. Blow through compressed air to remove debris. If the heatsink is clogged, the CPU may begin throttling, causing the fan to spin more rapidly and leading to game stuttering.

The temperatures remain acceptable during gaming sessions. Security updates didn’t reveal any issues, and the SSD retains roughly half of its capacity.
