I purchased the updated RAM, experienced minimal problems after installation (it didn’t recognize the new module), completed the configuration, then opened GPU-Z to verify everything was functioning properly. The software reports a GGDR6 (micron) chip. My installed RAM is Corsair DDR4 2x8GB at 2400MHz. What’s the issue?
Sure, I see what you're asking. The system lists 8192 MB of RAM, which seems inconsistent with the expected 16 GB. It appears to detect a configuration of two 8 GB modules instead of the standard setup. That's unusual.
Open the task manager. It will show you the available capacity and speed.
Click the task bar right and pick Task Manager. Navigate to the performance section and review the memory area. Pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc also launches it.
