Hey there, I just upgraded my PC from a Ryzen 5 3600X to a Ryzen 7 5800X and now it randomly shuts off, especially when I launch GTA 5. I thought maybe someone could help me out. It’s not my PSU, I got a new one today, but the issue keeps happening. The CPU temps are around 65-70 degrees when it powers off. My specs include an Aorus B550 Elite V2 board, 32GB RAM (4x8GB), a Ryzen 7 5800X, an RTX 2060 at 850W, a Corsair 80+ Gold PSU. Any advice would be great!

It seems like the issue might be with the power supply unit. You could check its voltage if possible and verify if it matches the expected values.

I tested it with two distinct PSUs—one was 550 watts (my old one) and the other I got today is 850 watts.

It seems the shutdown was unexpected without any BSOD. If your setup uses a surge protector, connect it directly to the wall outlet. Since only the CPU was modified, consider updating the BIOS and checking if it resolves the issue. If problems persist, revert to your original CPU and test again.
