Hello I am attempting to upgrade the graphics card in my brothers system (from a Gigabyte gaming G-1 Rx480 to a Zotac 1080 mini). I did the ddu, removed the old graphics card, installed the new one, but now the pc wont post, and i get no display output. all of the fans and leds turn on like its going to post, but no output. The motherboard is an Asus ROG strix b-350 f gaming mobo, with a R3 1200 and 16 gb 3200 ram. When it turns on, theres a yellow/amber light down by the front i/o headers, and the 4 lights by the ram go (yellow, red, yellow, red, white) and it stays on white. im not sure whats going on or why it will not output.
Swapped out the old graphics card, system started normally. Replaced it with another one using a different PCIe cable, but it didn’t boot. Even after adjusting how it’s placed in the slot, the white LED stayed on.
