You could easily purchase a budget 775 prebuilt/oem model for around 20-30$ locally (in your area). If you plan to use it as a storage server, opt for a 2nd-4th generation OEM for better performance and speed. The 775 offers poor performance and is mainly suitable for office PCs or just for overclocking experiments.
Attempt to reattach all power connectors. It seems there might be an issue when it gets warm.
I've been testing it intermittently over the past few days. It's starting to load better now, though sometimes a restart leaves it with a black screen and no display. The cooling fans aren't spinning up properly either. I removed the RAM from the second CPU slot, which seems to make a difference, but it still boots with all the RAM installed in every slot more than once. It feels like the system is really unpredictable—like flipping a coin when it comes to posting.
