Hi, I see you're dealing with a connectivity issue on your old PC acting as an NVR. It's losing network connection every 10 minutes, but your switch logs show the interface switching between 10 Mbps and 1 Gbps. You've tried changing ports, switches, and updated drivers. The problem began about three days ago, and you're considering replacing the NIC. What do you think?

Checked the Event Viewer and Syslog for any activity related to drop-outs or speed changes. Keep it up next time.

You refer to something that predates Windows 7, implying it may not be compatible. Compatible systems must be up to date with the latest operating system versions.

The system uses an i7-8700 processor with 64GB of RAM and is operating on Windows 10. The issue might have been triggered by a Stand-By setting in the event logs. I turned off all services with Stand-By enabled to test. Let's check if that resolved the problem.
