Hi.
My new PC is experiencing some issues, but I'm not sure what's causing them. I'll share as much detail as possible and hope you can assist.
Components:
Mobo: gigabyte GA-z97p-D3
Graphics: gtx 8800 (my test GPU)
Cpu: g3258 Intel
Psu: 430w
Let's begin... the PSU seems fine and should power the system well. I'm aware this is because my setup functioned before I made these changes. After installing afterburner and heavily overclocking the GPU, I immediately set it to full speed. The screen began to glitch, so I powered off the PC and restarted it. Once clocks returned to normal, I reinstalled afterburner. Now the issue persists—games are starting to crash, the GPU still runs benchmarks without failure, but every time I try to shut down the system I encounter a BSOD error. After removing the GPU, the problems continued. I also found a few bent pins on the CPU, though they haven't caused issues before they made good contact with it.
I reinstalled Windows, but the problems kept happening.
