Hello!

I’m experiencing issues with my computer; it frequently freezes and subsequently crashes while playing games. I've attempted to resolve this by running MSI Afterburner and/or Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. The problem persists regardless of whether I’m using undervolting settings or not. During the freeze, the game repeatedly loops a short segment of audio, and Discord continues to function until my PC restarts—allowing me to maintain conversations with my online friends while they can hear me. These crashes only occur when these software programs are active.

My system specifications include: HP OMEN 17-an005na, i7-7700hq processor, GTX 1070 graphics card, and 16GB of RAM. The Event Viewer indicates a kernel error (41) with bugcheckcode 278.

I apologize for any difficulties my English may cause. Do you have any recommendations?

It appears that those controls have been completely secured. If your application attempts to modify the settings, the computer will then actively resist those alterations.
