I built my PC about two years ago and have never had any stability issues like this until about two days ago. My PC will randomly shut off, with the motherboard lights staying on. I don't think it's related to my temps as I've been monitoring them closely and CPU and GPU both idle around 40-50 and hit 60-65 peaks while gaming. The frequency of the crashes seems to be entirely random, with it taking hours between crashes at most and mere minutes at the worst. System viewer hasn't reported anything other than the obvious critical kernel error 41 you get due to an unexpected shutdown. I looked at my memory dump file with windows debugger, but admittedly I don't know much about what I'm reading so hopefully someone smarter than me could figure it out. I'll attach the analysis below. The most notable points to me were a hash failure id of c89bfe8c-ed39-f658-ef27-f2898997fdbd related to nvlddmkm.sys and VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116). I built my PC about two years ago and have never had any stability issues like this until about two days ago. My PC will randomly shut off, with the motherboard lights staying on. I don't think it's related to my temps as I've been monitoring them closely and CPU and GPU both idle around 40-50 and hit 60-65 peaks while gaming. The frequency of the crashes seems to be entirely random, with it taking hours between crashes at most and mere minutes at the worst. System viewer hasn't reported anything other than the obvious critical kernel error 41 you get due to an unexpected shutdown. I looked at my memory dump file with windows debugger, but admittedly I don't know much about what I'm reading so hopefully someone smarter than me could figure it out. I'll attach the analysis below. The most notable points to me were a hash failure id of c89bfe8c-ed39-f658-ef27-f2898997fdbd related to nvlddmkm.sys and VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116). Consider testing the first option. I already have PBO and XMP enabled; would it help to turn them off just for caution? Feel free to share all your details here—any of that info might be useful.

From a technical standpoint, since it's a video driver error, PBO and XMP shouldn't affect the issue. I recommend checking the drivers first, and if the problem persists, temporarily disable them to eliminate other possible causes.
