Previously, after two days it functioned properly. I attempted to restart it and received no response. I replaced the power supply and switched outlets, but only a brief fan noise appeared. The motherboard I'm using is an older model with all new components, powered by a 1000W PSU feeding a RTX 4080 and Ryzen 5 7600X.

We'll begin by gathering the specifications. Next, remove non-essential components one by one—such as extra PCIe cards, additional RAM sticks, or a GPU when integrated—testing each time to confirm boot functionality. If any item prevents startup, the system should boot after its removal. Once you reach the bare essentials and still face issues, please inform us.

I also have 3 m.2 NVMe SSDs, two SATA SSDs, and a water pump. Nothing changed yet. I’m really stressed right now.

Check if the power supply unit works with a simple tester. Does it have a plastic 24-pin socket that came with the unit?

For those without one, search for “PSU paperclip test” online. It provides the same information.

I don't think I should have to dismantle the whole loop yet. It's been two months already, and I'm already wishing I could go back. Water cooling feels like a mistake.

You can simply take out the GPU riser and power cable. The loop doesn't require any adjustments right now.

I began with what I had available. It worked because I kept my old PC, so I could test the new one without starting from scratch. Building it this way meant I installed the SSD first, then the GPU—though it might not have been essential. Starting fresh now gives me a chance to see if it holds up. The CPU block with no water should be enough to verify its functionality.

It's the same idea as using a jumper to run only your water pump to fill your loop.

We aim to bypass the motherboard identification pins in the ATX 24-pin connector so the power supply can activate without a board connected.
