You're experiencing frequent crashes in games such as Warzone and Halo Infinite within about ten minutes of starting them. Despite having all drivers updated, your system is still affected. You've performed several fixes—swapped the CPU to a 2700, changed RAM, wiped the main drive (M.2 SSD), unplugged two HDDs—and even used a different ASUS Wi-Fi USB stick for internet. The issue started roughly four months after installing the new graphics card and has continued since. Most other games run smoothly, though stress tests on CPU and GPU still pass. I'm seeking advice and any support to resolve this problem. Thanks.
Extensions for cables you already have or alternatives you switch to. Updated BIOS for your motherboard? GPU linked via the same PCIe slot—8-pin or dual cables? Performance when under stress?
Consider upgrading your power source. Use MSI Kombustor to stress your GPU for an hour. Get the download link here: https://msikombustor.com/#MSI_Kombustor_Download_for_PC
extensions are added to the original cables before connecting them to the power supply. the bios is as current as possible with my CPU, though they suggest avoiding updates for my specific series. yes, the pcie power uses one cable with the extensions attached. earlier power supplies had two pcie cables and still faced the same issue (800w Corsair PSU from around 2010). under load, the GPU and CPU both hit about 69 degrees. also, I’m using a 1080p 144hz monitor at high settings during games, which isn’t extremely demanding.
I downloaded it and ran it for an hour and a half without any problems. It’s a brand new model I just installed today. The wattage input matched what my setup showed on a calculator site—around 550W. Upgrading to 750W seemed like a solid value.
