My laptop has begun experiencing sudden shutdowns during gameplay, typically after a 5-minute delay before the display turns to black. This isn’t an issue with the screen alone, as the audio also ceases functioning simultaneously. The problem affects a variety of games – including Assassin’s Creed, Civilization, GTA, and NFS – at which point no functions are accessible. To resolve this, I must power down the laptop completely (holding the power button) and then restart it. Upon reboot, all previously opened applications are closed. My system includes a Lenovo Ideapad 520 with an Intel i7 8th generation processor, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, and 8GB of DDR4 RAM, running on Windows 10. I haven’t altered any components. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
