Hello, This is the around the 6th or so PC I've built, it's actually for a friend of mine. But for whatever reason it just doesn't seem to want to boot. The few times I've gotten it to boot both the dram and cpu lights have been on, and I have no visuals on the monitors, both with hdmi and display port. I've basically uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and no luck. I've checked the cpu pins and they look fine. I've receded the ram multiple times in different channels and configurations and that didn't help. I took out the cmos battery and waited a bit before putting back in. I've tired a different know good power supply and graphics card and no luck there either. I think the motherboard might be bad but I'm unsure. Specs are here https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Tz2hvj This is a mostly new build, the powersupply and m.2 are from his previous build, and have worked before. I've also tested his current grahpics card on my computer and it had no issues. The really weird part is that the first time it powered on for about 5 seconds and stopped and then the motherboard started making a almost ticking noise, and everytime i would turn on the powersupply it would do that. That's when I pulled it appart and reinstalled everything. Then I got it to boot the cpu light was red and the dram light was orange and I had no visuals. So I turned it off and tired to turn it back on and it sounds like the powersupply just clicks. I know that it does need a bios update but that's hard to do when I have no power to the rest of the pc. Does anyone else know what the issues is. We're probably going to return and get a different motherboard tomorrow.
