The system was initialized successfully on the first boot. All components functioned properly. During setup, a warning appeared: "AMI BIOS wew cpu installed, enter setup for configuration. CPU fan speed detection error, press F1 to enter setup." I suspect the fan speed detection might not be working because the AIO radiator was connected via a single controller header cable to the pump slot on the mainboard. Should I proceed with this connection or make adjustments?

In the BIOS, there is an option named "ASMedia Storage Controller." Is this feature safe to disable? It appears to be a SATA controller, but is it really necessary?

Additionally, I connected the fan controller header from the PC case to the CHA_FAN5 slot on the motherboard. Does the position of the header matter—should I connect it to another slot instead?

Currently, I face a more serious issue: after enabling EXPO in BIOS and rebooting, the PC became unresponsive for several minutes before appearing with code 99. A reboot didn’t resolve the problem. If the system fails to start, I might need to reset the BIOS, clear the CMOS, and manually set the voltage timing for the Expo profile. The motherboard supports Expo, and the RAM supports it, yet it doesn’t function as expected. What steps should I take next?

Ram shared the details about the RAM kit used. Did the slots A2 and B2 on the motherboard get filled during installation? After performing a reboot, the issue persisted. It seems the PC might need a BIOS reset, clearing CMOS, and manually adjusting voltage timing for the Expo profile. Would you like to clear the CMOS now? Also, could you check the current BIOS version in the BIOS settings?

Yes A2 and B2 are applied. Clearing CMOS doesn't remove all BIOS user profiles, and I'll check later. Updating the thread with the installed BIOS version is possible, though changing to beta isn't my plan.

The ram page links to Corsair's product for an XMP memory kit CMK32GX5M2B6000Z28.

Link pump to AIO_pump header.
Attach fans to radiator and CPU_fan and CPU_opt headers.
Asmedia sata controller offers built-in SATA ports.
Disabling this will prevent using any SATA 2.5" or 3.5" drives.

The two cables included with the radiator came with different configurations—one had a single header while the other had multiple. I wasn’t sure how to connect the multiple ones, so I chose the single header option. Is this an issue? Was the issue displayed on the screen a real concern?

Your CPU supports up to 5600 MHz with dual RAM. If XMP attempts to set the RAM to 6000, it could exceed the CPU's capabilities. Check the BIOS for a lower XMP value and adjust to 5600 or below, as manual tuning might be necessary.

Radiator fans connected to cpu_fun, pump linked to AIO pump, and VRM assigned to cpu_opt. What does VRM stand for?

Yeah I noticed on the 9800X3D webpage a few minutes ago that it's rated for 5600 DDR5. In the BIOS the current speed is listed as 6000. To lower it to 5600 would require adjusting other settings too, right?
