I changed my CPU from a Ryzen 3 3100 to a Ryzen 5 5500 but it’s stuck on the American Megatrends title screen with no other details visible. The motherboard is a B450 AORUS Pro, and I updated the BIOS to the latest version—it functions normally even when switching back to the old CPU. My GPU is an RX 570, and I have 12 GB of DDR4 RAM. The power supply is a Gigabyte P450B. I’ve tried resetting CMOS, disabling TPM/secure boot, using only one RAM stick, and removing peripherals. The Ryzen 5 5500 is brand new with straight pins.

What version of the bios are you using? Have you received the latest beta versions or the most recent release?
