I was attempting to set up a new AIO on my computer and it fell from a modest desk about two feet high. After connecting everything, the motherboard lights up but it doesn’t power on. I checked the GPU, CPU, hard drive, and power supply, but nothing works. I tried jump-starting it and still couldn’t get it to turn on.

Verify the position of all cables, attempt to reinsert them from the power source.

If the cables are fine, look for damaged components on the motherboard.

The only issue I discovered was a broken SATA pin. I also replaced the CMOS battery.

your motherboard might be damaged or a single wire is broken. Check the motherboard carefully right now—if it feels loose, it could be the power supply unit. Listen for any unusual sounds and search for guidance on testing a PSU to confirm if it’s supplying power properly.

I switched to a different PSU to verify. It makes sense the motherboard is damaged—I was just worried because the RGB lights are still on.
