I assembled my new machine yet it remains inactive. The fans whir for half a second before stopping, only the ones linked to the fan hub function, which is connected to the PSU—not the motherboard, CPU, or GPU. The CPU fans and case fans don’t activate. Nothing appears to power up on the motherboard. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything, including with and without the GPU. I changed the RAM placement countless times, adjusted the case power switches repeatedly, and switched the positions of the connectors for the power switches. The motherboard shows debug LEDs (EZ Debug LED), but none illuminate. It seems the issue lies with the motherboard itself. Apparently, the PSU works because the fan hub briefly activates, while the case power switches send signals to spin the CPU fans—Intel i5 12600 K, AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. The setup includes Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 at 3,600 MHz, 2x16 GB DDR4, MSI Pro B660M-A WiFi, and a Bitfenix Whisper M 750W PSU. The case is a Lian Li Lancool 215.

I would inspect the CPU power connector, confirming it is fully seated on both the motherboard and PSU. I've noticed similar issues with Dell PSUs remaining in "test" mode. Keeping the power button pressed would cause fans to run at maximum speed while the rest of the system fails to power up. If you still have an older PSU, testing it might be worthwhile to see if it starts. Should it lack sufficient power for your new setup, consider removing the GPU for this check.
