Many have likely inquired about this already. Are you using the authentic PSU cable? It’s probably one of the rare options where a different cable works, so verify the markings on both ends.

It was built from the case, but when anything connects to the 8-pin section it doesn’t power up.

You're using the proper cable. By Saturday your computer functioned well until it ceased when attempting to remove dust from your AIO filter.

It seems like a brief overview. Did you confirm all connections properly? Please inspect the minor wires such as fan cables and RGB headers.
