Hello, my system runs smoothly most of the time but occasionally when I attempt to wake it from sleep it doesn’t work, then it powers on three times and restarts completely. I’ve tried pressing the spacebar/enter, left-click, and even the power button on the tower, but sometimes it succeeds and other times it fails. The hardware is brand new and up to date, and I haven’t encountered any other problems.

The previous time I encountered problems with a computer waking up from sleep was due to faulty RAM. It was annoying since it met the RAM specifications, yet it still had issues. The power supply might also be questionable, but since everything else functions properly, my concern leans more toward the RAM.

Have you attempted to reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery to check for improvements? -- it might be due to a BIOS configuration that prevents activation from input devices, so resetting could restore settings and assist.
Is your operating system current? Do you have any pending BIOS updates?

BIOS has already been updated and the OS was just updated recently.
It seems this issue usually occurs after Windows updates, though not all of them. I just installed a recent Windows patch, and it hasn’t been happening before. This has been going on for about six months now.

Begin by examining the Reliability History/Monitor for any error codes, warnings, or informational events recorded just before or when the computer fails to wake from sleep mode. Also consider if issues started after a Windows update—review the timeline. Look into the Update History for any failed or problematic updates. Additionally, execute "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to identify and resolve corrupted or faulty files.

Do you have any USB devices connected? Are all drivers current? Sometimes a driver issue, especially during sleep mode, can cause problems.

I own an older Asus Wi-Fi card but mostly rely on a wired link while the Wi-Fi is fiber and the cable connection remains stable, keeping me connected all the time.

It might be the drivers on the old Asus card; could you provide details about its model number? I can then check the chips and see if there are newer drivers available. You could also try removing it to observe any changes. The driver won’t work without connected hardware.

I purchased a new RAM module, using the Trident Z Neo resolved the issue.
