I might not be using the correct word for what I’m experiencing, but let me try to give a better idea of what’s happening. So, I play several rhythm games—mainly Osu! and Clone Hero—and a few light games like Rocket League and Hotline Miami. A few weeks ago, I started playing Clone Hero and everything worked fine. Suddenly it slowed down for about half a second before recovering. That was strange. I lost my streak, but it was okay. About 60 seconds later it worked again. Now I’m frustrated. Recently, my PC stutters whenever I play a game or browse the internet, no matter what I do. I’ve tried many troubleshooting steps and even let someone from Microsoft help, but nothing helped. Since the issue feels random and not clear, online searches aren’t giving much help either. I’m overwhelmed with all these confusing fixes and honestly stuck. Edit: I realized the problem might go away when using more demanding programs. R6 Siege runs smoothly, no stutter at all. GB z370m ds3h Gskill 16gb ddr4 NVIDIA GTX 1080ti F.E. Intel Pentium G5400 (I know, pairing is ridiculous. I’m tackling it right away). TIA

This was my initial thought. Everything seemed normal again. I plan to install a stronger antivirus, like Webroot, and do another review, but I’m pretty confident it’s not the problem.

I mostly rely on Chrome, though Edge is available. I’m not sure about the reason. It seemed to be the first app I uninstalled when setting everything up.
