I updated my BIOS and everything seems fine now. I completed assembling my new PC last week, and it functions perfectly. However, it has frozen and restarted itself three times within a week. This occurs after logging in, entering the password, and signing in. After a few seconds, the PC freezes and reboots on its own—usually just once before it works normally for the whole day. It’s happening randomly three times so far, so I’m hoping someone can assist in identifying the cause. I checked the Event Viewer under Windows Logs -> System, filtered by ‘Error’, and found three entries. The messages read: “a fatal hardware error has occurred.” This seems linked to the sudden freeze and reboot issue. I don’t recognize the specific problem from the error text, and I’m unfamiliar with this happening on my new system built with brand-new components. My old PC never experienced this. Could you help me figure it out?
