This occurrence has only taken place twice so far on soundcloud.com when using Mozilla Firefox. I recently switched to Windows 10, which is a brand-new machine except for the motherboard, power supply, and hard drive. Initially, I saw a blue screen but it didn’t appear, so I powered off the system and restarted it. Once back online, I tried accessing soundcloud.com again and it worked. After that, PC functioned normally as far as I recall. I have the event logs from Windows 10. Any suggestions?
System details: Ryzen 7 2700, Asrock B450 HDV R4.0, 8x1 GB DDR4 @3000, 120 SSD + 2 TB HDD, 500W PSU, Bequiet RX 570 4 GB MSI.
some folks here probably have more insight. I’m just going through it because it was there. I’m not an expert. I noticed a lot of kernel errors in that image. I don’t speak Spanish, but much of it isn’t language-specific—it could be related to how SoundCloud or Firefox/SoundCloud are coded. The test I’d run would be using SoundCloud in another browser to check if the same issue appears. Even then, it might just point to SoundCloud itself.
And it wasn’t always this way? It raises questions about whether Google might have taken over SoundCloud or used a free app from Google to push an update that unexpectedly broke Firefox and SoundCloud. I’ve noticed this more often recently. Google seems to be chasing compatibility across platforms, similar to how Microsoft pursued compatibility with Windows 98.
