The computer appears to freeze following the overclocking process.
I overclocked several components including an AMD Athlon X4 760k GPU, an EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW Edition ACX Cooling Motherboard, and a MSI A 78M-E35I. I increased both the GPU and CPU speeds to observe performance changes. After overclocking, I encountered freezing in World of Warcraft until the message appeared that my -GPU was malfunctioning. I resolved it by closing the game, restarting MSI afterburner, resetting to factory defaults, and returning to BIOS. Since then, I’ve experienced stuttering in games like BF4, especially at medium settings, with noticeable FPS drops when moving or changing controls. Any suggestions on resolving this issue?
How much overclocking did you perform and did you adjust the voltages? How intense were the temperatures during the overclock? It's not wise to overclock without understanding what you're doing, as it can harm your system. What is your PSU? What temperatures are you experiencing now?
Would you like to check the CPU temperature, and do you have an aftermarket cooler available?
