Hi Everyone, I'm connecting via RDP from my home laptop to a work machine at work. This lets me use my own setup without constantly plugging in. I'm curious about what data the laptop might be handling. Since it's an American firm, they don't follow GDPR (they have European offices), and there are concerns about employee monitoring. I'll only stay for a short time, and my own company respects GDPR. Thanks ahead!

When establishing a remote link, the other device only displays its IP address. Choosing to share local storage as network drives makes their data accessible. Clearly, any actions performed on the remote system remain visible to your supervisor.

Well nothing is shared and everything is on by default. It's not my employer I'm worried about but it is my client. They have no issue reading personal messages on Teams etc. Everything they do is against GDPR and they know it but they do it anyway.
