I’ll definitely check again when purchasing RAM. Right now I’m set on the Ryzen 3700x and Asus TUF Gaming x570 Plus.

When you purchase the kit, let us know. You might also share a link to a store where you plan to buy them, which helps us suggest suitable memory options.

Sure, I can help verify compatibility. Please confirm the exact model numbers for your Ryzen 3700X and Asus TUF Gaming X570 Plus, then check if the Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 3000MHz fits within those specifications.

I believe they’ll function well. Experience with 2600&B450 shows no issues, and compatibility with X570 & 3700x should work smoothly at 99.999% efficiency.

I'm setting up my initial computer and am concerned the RAM I purchased might not function properly. The CPU model is 3700x.

It might function at slower speeds as well. However, I recommend posting this in a separate thread for more targeted help. This will likely yield better results. I’ve decided on 2 x 8GB 3000Mhz RAM, which includes the RTX 2070 Super. I regret not having chosen a 16GB 3200Mhz model earlier. That would have allowed me to upgrade later. Now I can clearly see the constraints. 16 GB falls short. But I ran out of funds. Edited September 11, 2019 by kumara

The system runs smoothly and everything functions properly with these 2x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB RAM at 3000MHz.

Ballistix sport sticks perform well at 3800MHz but struggle with poor timing, so I expect they’ll work fine at 3400MHz with better settings.

It had been suggested before. Refer to that feedback. A great collection of OC techniques for Micron E-die is available at kumara. Now we should fine-tune them using the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen. : )
