The AMD site lists 3200MHz, but some users on Newegg reported problems with 3600MHz kits and unstable systems. They tried overclocking to fix it. I’m not familiar with overclocking, so I’m unsure and a bit worried about buying now. I’ll wait for more responses before deciding. Thanks for your quick reply. — kumara

The standard choice is usually a 3200mhz setup, but 3600mhz is better. You won’t have to manually tweak speeds or anything else—just pick the XMP profile in the BIOS. It generally works out of the box, and Zen 2 has improved significantly with RAM recently.

XMP seems a bit excessive in my opinion. I consistently achieve better benchmarks with the Ryzen DRAM Calculator. Crucial Ballistix Sport RAMs are Micron E-die, which are powerful yet affordable options. You might want to explore them. A more affordable alternative is the Hynix CJR die, offering solid performance with Ryzen too. In my view, Zen2 CPUs handle well when PBO is enabled, so you won't need to overclock the CPU unnecessarily.

It would be simpler to retrieve the memories first, then request the RAM profile settings. I can supply them (about 15 seconds to gather the details) provided I understand the chipset manufacturer, CPU, and motherboard. : )
