You're facing an issue with how your commands appear on the screen when using SSH and configuring your Raspberry Pi as a router. The tutorial instructions might be showing you the output in a different format, which makes it hard to follow. To fix this, try opening the terminal in nano or another text editor and run the command exactly as shown in the video—make sure you're not scrolling or modifying the output while it's being displayed.

For reference, here’s a helpful video link: [Configuring Raspberry Pi as a Router with SSH](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=example)
(Replace "example" with the actual video ID if you want the precise one.)

Consider PuTTY as a possible option. Remember the official page is https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/.

There was an unexplained issue with the command prompt not displaying details, while Putty handled everything properly

From PuTTY you can see the encoding and terminal type in use. For the Windows built-in SSH client, I don’t have details on how to view or adjust these settings.
