The bed I heard a lot about is that e cores are weak and not very useful. Only the 13600k cores in R23 get 8800 points, and a single core at 1100 is the same as a 9700k at stock. That’s insanely great. It’s like having six monster cores with a 9700k just for fun.

12400f on a b660 represents the simplest setup I could think of right now. With prices around 7600x or 13600k and a 3060ti, it makes sense to opt for a console.

Is 12600k worth a laugh? It really takes the wind out of my lungs.

Debauer shared some intriguing findings earlier. Using just E-Cores, the 12900k performed multicore at roughly 1700X and single core around 7700k. I recently got the 13700kf, which feels like a more capable 12900K at a lower price.

Sure, the 12600k offers clear benefits compared to the 12400F, mainly because it delivers four eco-rated cores without needing overclocking. That extra $50 is a good investment. People seem pretty focused on AMD here.

Many folks are still following the Ryzen trend from 2 to 3 years ago. I understand it, especially when the 3600x was popular, but things have changed now.

An integrated CPU built into the system would fit well for a home server with minimal processing demands. A 8 e-core, 2 p-core configuration would be a strong option if I had the chance.
