Very dumb question. Does color affect the signal of the router? I mean, If a manufacturer would create a variety of colors for a model of a router, will colors affect how they would manufacture it(Maybe look for a color that does not have metal properties to interfere with signal)? Thank you.

Red fire stripes = faster WiFi, right???? /s Color is not of importance and I honestly don't know if this is a serious question. What does color matter, if the components on the inside and the antennas are the important part?

If it did happen, I wouldn't believe it would have enough impact on the signal. If it occurred, I'd advise that most firms would dismiss it during the R&D stage of product development.

I briefly glanced at the title and thought, "Ah, a question about DWDM wavelengths!" but ended up feeling let down.

I wasn't sure it would really matter. It seems odd that most home networking routers come in black or white. Thanks!
