The coil noise becomes unusual in an unexpected way.
My Asus Scar 16 laptop is making coil whine noise. The sound gets louder when you move the mouse. After resetting Windows and avoiding economy or standard settings with Intel GPU, the noise lessened and almost vanished, but returns when switching to ultimate mode (Nvidia GPU). Noticing it stays loud even after putting the laptop into standard mode or sleep, I’m curious about the source of the sound. Could you suggest ways other than reinstalling Windows to resolve this issue?
coil whine normally comes form a electronic part normally form the gpu but it can be in other things. if its the gpu its normally tied to fps hire the louder it is. nothing really can be done about it...
