The game continues to work smoothly, though it's annoying to return here. I'm beginning to suspect a hardware issue unless you have other suggestions.

Also worth noting, if this is related, when I access the system configuration under boot I notice the following startup options for my normal setup:
Windows 10(C:\Windows): CurrentOS; Default OS
Windows 10(\Windows)
Windows 10(D:\Windows)
I think this might have happened after I transferred Windows 10 to my SSD (now C: drive) and then reformatted my old C: drive. I feel that was when things started going wrong. Right after the move, the interface seemed uncertain, though the games still worked. After resetting my PC and updating to Windows 11 on C: drive, the games now run poorly even though benchmarks claim I have a solid gaming PC. I just thought mentioning this could help uncover any other possibilities.

I found out my CPU is operating around 75°C when idle, not just during gaming. This seems to cause stuttering, which I noticed in my cursor on the desktop. I plan to clean the case and fans, and reapply thermal paste this weekend to check if it improves things. Wishing you good luck!

Also verify the precision boost or just apply precision boost overdrive as observed the CPU ran at 3.4ghz boost except for the first run which was 3.8ghz. Perhaps observing the CPU clock behavior would help. But if it's running at 75c on idle that could indicate a remidial issue, you might want to clean all the fans and cooling systems and repaste the CPU with a quality paste, then test if that improves idle performance. It seems the issue might occur when gaming, causing overheating and throttling, though it doesn't always happen. Some throttling with noticeable FPS drop is possible. With precision boost overdrive enabled, the clock would exceed safe limits. Your first reading was 3.8ghz, the most recent is 3.4ghz, unsure if the clock adjustment was correct or if overheating is causing excessive throttling. You might want to check your RAM usage while playing the game.

Lads, I’ve fixed my issue. Sorry about that awkward moment with my forehead. When I opened up my PC to reapply thermal paste, I saw something strange. It turns out I hadn’t secured the fan or heat sink properly over the CPU—so it kept moving. While it was upright, there was no contact between the heat sink and the CPU. For the past two months, my CPU had been barely holding on without any cooling. I cleaned everything with rubbing alcohol, reapplied the paste, and my game ran much better than before. I also want to thank everyone who helped improve my PC settings I didn’t even know about. It’s been a long journey.
