The clock on your Windows system consistently runs slow.
Hi everyone! I'm facing a really annoying problem with my computer clock. It consistently loses time—about one minute every five minutes of real time. It feels like a minor issue, but it’s caused me to be late a few times. I checked the settings for "Set time automatically" and "set time zone automatically," but after trying both and manually adjusting, the discrepancy remains around 5-10 minutes per hour. I suspect it’s not related to the CMOS battery since the clock doesn’t reset properly; instead, it seems the issue is persistent. It’s not a virus either, as the time difference is only a few minutes. I’m using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, new hardware built in April, and recently replaced the SSD boot drive. Thanks for any advice!
It seems the logic might not hold up, and I’m skeptical unless the creator is just a massive troll.
It manages the clock during operation. The new design doesn't ensure a brand-new CMOS battery.
