My computer frequently shifts its clock unpredictably—often ahead by 4 to 5 hours, sometimes further, and occasionally it lags behind the current time. To resolve this, simply disable the auto-check time setting in the window options and recheck it. The correct time zone should appear consistently throughout. I suspect the issue might stem from Windows updating manually, which prevents auto-updating the time. I also tried booting into BIOS to verify the displayed time, and it matched Windows’ time zone. My system is running Windows 11 with an M-Series Z690 chipset, 16 GB RAM, and a 3600 MHz processor (the version number might be misleading). The graphics card is a Strix 3070, but I’m not sure if that affects the problem.

You might instruct Windows to adopt UTC rather than local time https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System_...ft_Windows

I’ll give it a shot, though I’m not sure. This also involves dual booting, which I don’t usually do.

I see, the issue isn't about dual booting, likely a Windows glitch. It's worth testing to ensure BIOS time isn't being altered by updates when you switch time zones.
