When a student opens Google Chrome on their Chromebook and attempts a search, it redirects to search-fine.com and thesearchplc.com before proceeding to Bing. The issue occurs even though no suspicious extensions are installed, and another student in the same grade successfully used Google without redirection. After checking the search engine settings, it appears Google was removed from the list. I believe the problem might be linked to his profile, as the issue arises when a different Chromebook is used. I don’t know the exact cause or solution.

The factory reset didn't solve the problem. The issue persists when moving between Chromebooks, suggesting a problem with his profile settings that isn't immediately obvious.

See a summary of the data stored in your Google Account. You can check which Google services were used during your session.

I logged in to a desktop and accessed myaccount.google.com using the student's ID. In the security section, I noticed two sign-ins from California that shouldn't have been there, so I removed them. I then checked the Third Party Apps and Services list and deleted Blooket and NoRedInk. After that, the searches returned correctly as expected.
