The feedback suggests it's quite challenging. Yet they likely played it at a tougher level. I'm planning to try it on a simpler setting—still hard, right? Is it a game where you'll face many deaths and hide in lockers for about ten minutes? This is my first survival horror experience, and I'm curious about how difficult it really is.
You didn't play? I'm considering a normal setting, but this is my first survival horror game.
It's tough but not quite like Dark Souls 2. Pewdiepie can handle it, probably because he doesn’t get killed that often—maybe only a few times a level.
I play on easy and I feel it is pretty hard. Though it could be my fear keeping me in closets 90% of my gameplay fooling me into believing it is hard... (it is an amazing game!)
Hard depends on your gaming background with shooters, stealth titles, and overall experience. If you're unfamiliar with stealth, it can feel tough; if you're comfortable, it'll be simpler. Personally, I found it challenging at first, even though I'm not a complete newcomer to the genre. I began with a tougher setting but eventually adjusted to a more balanced difficulty as the game repeated similar challenges.
It’s actually quite simple, not too tough at all. Just stay alert, keep raiding and making things, and you’ll get by without much trouble. Edit: I had a few accidents with my pants, especially around fire :3
It was pretty simple (I tried on Medium). But I got really bored with the maze-style gameplay, so I deleted it. Also, avoid shooting or attacking when possible—it makes a big difference.
