I own a fan hub with chassis fans already connected, it has dual-sided Molex power and I linked the male port to my PSU, yet no power reaches my case fans. Since my PSU is 1000W it should provide sufficient power, and before switching my GPU they functioned properly.

What is the make and model of the PSU? Which GPU was replaced? Please mention the previous setup and the current one. It might be that the PSU isn't providing sufficient power for the fans and other components.

I changed from a 1660 super to a 1080 power supply.

Check for images demonstrating the connections between fans, fan hubs, and PSUs. (Upload to imgur.com and share the link)
Verify if fans spin when linked directly to the motherboard.
Note that a fan hub might fail if not properly connected.

Molex fans are really disappointing. If you haven't already, give them another shot by switching them on and off and testing different Molex connectors on the PSU.
