Your system's RAM speed changed unexpectedly from 3600 MHz to the default 2133 MHz. I checked the BIOS settings and confirmed the xmp profile was active, but the CPU still reported 3600 MHz. It seems it functions properly at every other frequency except 3600 and 3666. The issue might be related to how the system handles certain frequencies or a misconfiguration. You may want to verify the RAM settings in BIOS and ensure no conflicting profiles are enabled.

I was experimenting with a few cables inside my PC to organize them, which led me to disconnect and reconnect some of them. I’m sure it probably doesn’t matter much for the RAM issue, but I thought I should mention it just in case.

Reset CMOS settings and reapply XMP profile. Refer to your documentation for specific steps.

I checked the CMOS and re-applied XMP, but the issue persisted. My memory module seems to be deteriorating. It was purchased roughly three months ago.

I believe the issue might be an incorrect XMP profile. On my older 16 GB system I had to adjust timings manually, which didn’t auto-apply, and on my newer 32 GB system I used the Ryzen DRAM Calculator to determine settings. I then relaxed the timings even more. You also have a 4 DIMM package that’s trickier to configure than two, so check the instructions (make sure you know your DRAM brand and die).

Did you solve that? It’s the same thing again—touching a fan caused the PC to crash repeatedly, and now I can’t set my RAM above 2133. Rams worked well at 3200 for two years, but it just happened after touching a case fan.
