Completed setup using Asus Prime Pro, Ryzen 5 5600X and Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB 3600MHz. The problem occurs when running XMP above 3400MHz; the MOBO fails to post and the RAM appears as a single channel instead of dual. The BIOS is up-to-date, and I haven’t experienced stability problems. It seems the RAM isn’t reaching its advertised speeds despite everything working correctly. After some adjustments, the CPU operates smoothly at around 4.6GHz under load. RAM model: BL2K8G36C16U4W. Updated August 29, 2021 by TaxiVromVrom
The ram doesn't operate in dual channel for a specific reason, even though the slots are correct. However, it does run at 3600 when I perform the action manually.
Have you attempted to reset CMOS and reinstall RAM? Otherwise, the 5600X is limited to DDR4-3200. Anything above that is seen as overclocking. While most Ryzen 5000 models can handle 3600, it isn't assured. It's possible you missed the chance and the CPU's memory controller might not support more than 3400.
