While attempting to retrieve a screw, I unintentionally bent a few of the audio capacitors. I gently realigned them. Will this impact audio performance since the metal is now compromised and current flow is restricted? It reminds me of bending a paperclip—slight warping occurs, resistance changes slightly, and repeated bending can cause failure. These small Nichicon capacitors, roughly 5mm tall, are yellow and black. If necessary, I’ll likely use a soldering iron to replace them. I have an ASUS Prime X470-PRO board.
